Overview

CH235S is a Type-C single-port fast charging protocol chip with ESSOP-10 package. CH235S supports PD3.0/2.0, PPS and other Type-C fast charging protocols, and supports BC1.2 and other Type-A fast charging protocols. CH235S supports TL431 and other voltage references or FB sink current regulation of DC-DC system. CH235S integrates VBUS detection and discharging functions, and provides over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, over-current protection and over-temperature protection. CH231K is a simplified version of CH235S, with SOT23-6L package. Compared with CH235S, CH231K omits the following functions: DP/DM related Type-A protocol support, VBUS discharging, current compensation, over-current protection and over-temperature protection.
